KL Podcast Studio was built from a simple idea — recording a podcast should feel easier, more guided, and more accessible for creators, brands, and teams.
We did not start as a big studio. We grew by learning what creators actually need.
KL Podcast Studio started as a personal and internal podcast project by our founder, Kurt Fathul. What began as a simple idea slowly became a proper studio built around real client needs — easier booking, better recording support, and a more guided podcast experience.
Over time, we expanded from studio recording into On-The-Go production, workshops, brand partnerships, and multiple studio rooms. Every upgrade came from the same question: how can we make content creation easier for the people who walk into our studio?

Here are the common questions clients usually ask before booking a podcast studio session with KL Podcast Studio.
Our studio is made for easy, guided recording.
You do not need to bring your own microphones, cameras, lighting, or technical crew. Choose your studio, book your slot, and our team will help handle the recording setup.
Can I book the studio by hour?
Yes. Most studio sessions are charged based on the booked time. If you book 1 hour, your session is reserved for that specific 1-hour slot, so please arrive on time to make full use of your recording session.
Can I choose which studio I want?
Yes. You can choose based on your content needs. Studio A is best for premium and corporate-style recordings, Studio B and Damansara Damai are suitable for regular podcast recordings, while Studio C is ideal for solo creator content.
Is crew or operator support included?
Yes. Our studio sessions include technical support for the recording setup. Our team will help manage the basic recording workflow, camera setup, audio setup, and file preparation after the session.
Can I bring my own camera or recording equipment?
Our studio recording packages already include our in-house camera, audio, and lighting setup. Outside cameras are generally not allowed for podcast recording unless discussed and approved in advance.
Do I need to prepare anything before recording?
We recommend preparing your topic, episode flow, guest details, talking points, and any visual materials you want to show on screen. If you need specific camera angles or minor setup changes, let us know at least one day before your session.
When will I receive my recording files?
Recording files are usually shared within 24–48 hours after your session. The download link will be sent through WhatsApp or email, depending on your booking details.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes. Students can enjoy 50% off studio usage rates. To qualify, students may need to provide a confirmation letter from their teacher, lecturer, faculty, or institution. T&C apply.
