1What is KL Podcast Studio?
KL Podcast Studio is a professional recording space dedicated to podcasters. With locations in Damansara Damai and Petaling Utama, we offer high-quality equipment, services, and support for both audio and video podcasts.
2How much does it cost to rent a studio at KL Podcast Studio?
Rates vary by location, studio package, and equipment. Prices start at RM100 per hour for audio podcasts in Petaling Utama and go up to RM700 per hour for premium video podcasts. Visit our Studio Rates page for detailed pricing.
3What equipment is included in the rental?
Each studio rental includes access to professional equipment such as the Rodecaster Pro 2, Rode PodMics, and optional Audio-Technica headphones upon request. For video setups, we offer the Rodecaster Video or ATEM Mini Pro, ideal for multi-camera setups. Our Petaling Utama studio is equipped with Nanlite lighting, while our Damansara Damai studio features Godox lighting. Additional equipment and custom setups can be arranged upon request.
4What are your operating hours?
Our studios operate daily from 10 am to 10 pm. However, on weekends, we are open from 10 am to 6 pm, unless otherwise requested. All sessions must be booked in advance, as we do not accept walk-ins.

Booking and Payment

1How do I book a recording session?
Bookings for in-studio recordings can be made via our website. For long-term packages or Podcast On-The-Go! services, contact us directly via WhatsApp at +60173399720 or email at [email protected].
2Can I come and check out the studio before booking?
Absolutely! We’re happy to give you a tour of the studio. Please contact us to schedule your visit.
3How can I pay for the services?
We accept payments via Stripe or Bank Transfer, with full payment required to confirm your booking.
4Do I need to pay for my booking in advance?
Yes, all bookings must be paid in full to confirm your session. For bank transfer payments, please complete the payment within 24 hours after making the booking; otherwise, your booking will be automatically canceled. For bookings paid via Stripe, payment is processed instantly during booking. For more details, please refer to our Studio Terms and Conditions.

Studio Policies and Use

1What if I’m running late or need more time?
Bookings are set based on the reserved time, not the recording duration. For example, if you book from 11 am to 12 pm, your session must end by 12 pm. If your session extends beyond the booked hour, additional hourly fees apply. Please arrive on time to fully use your session, as late arrivals may result in a shorter recording time without a refund.
2What happens if my session goes over the booked time?
If no booking follows your session, you’re welcome to use an additional 5-10 minutes to close out. However, if your session continues beyond that, an additional hourly fee applies, even if another session is booked after yours. We recommend managing time carefully to avoid extra charges.
3Can I bring my own camera or phone when using your podcast rental service?
Our Terms and Conditions require that all video recordings use studio-provided equipment. However, you’re welcome to use your phone or camera for personal content outside of recording time.
4Do you allow outside food and drinks in the studio?
Light snacks and beverages are allowed. However, heavy meals, alcohol, and non-halal food are prohibited. Please be mindful of spills, as cleaning fees may apply.
5Who operates the recording equipment during sessions?
Our skilled studio operator will handle recording so you can focus on your content. Any specific equipment needs or setup requests should be communicated one day in advance.
6What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made 7 days in advance receive a full refund, 3 days in advance receive a 50% refund, and cancellations with less than 3 days’ notice are non-refundable. Clients can reschedule up to 48 hours before the session.

Additional Services

1Do you offer podcast editing services?
Yes, we provide professional editing services. Editing fees are determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the scope of work.
2How soon will I receive my audio and video files?
Files are typically sent via Google Drive within 24-48 hours of the recording. Please inform us if you need them sooner.
3Can I rent just the equipment without using the studio?
Equipment-only rentals are available upon request and based on availability. Reach out to confirm equipment availability and rental terms.

Long-Term Packages and On-The-Go Services

1What long-term packages do you offer?
We offer discounted packages of 10, 20, and 40 hours with validity periods of 2 to 3 months. Unused hours can be carried forward if a new package is purchased within 30 days of expiration. More details are available on our Studio Rates page.
2Do you provide Podcast On-The-Go! services for off-site recordings?
Yes! We offer mobile recording packages within the Klang Valley. Please note that rates vary for open spaces and conference-style events. Contact us to discuss details and obtain a customized quote.
